While Rex was in Bangkok we decided to spend Jack's birthday weekend with Mom and Dad. Dad had the brilliant idea to go to Crystal Hot Springs. Cold outside, warm in the pools. The kids LOVED it-except Jack, he kept drinking the salty water, YUCKKKKK!

Grandma Tanner made Jack Crepes for his birthday breakfast-he loved them. Can't believe he's one already. What a fun, sweet little guy. We love him and can't imagine our family without him.

We saved Jack's present for Rex's return. Unfortunately he was delayed due to the earthquake and missed Jack's birthday. Luckily he was able to make it home the next day after a 32 hour flight. We were so sad for Japan, but so glad to have our Daddy back. Yeah Daddy!

We love our family's tradition of going to Island Park. We cross country ski, sled, and eat! Thanks to Mom and Dad for this wonderful adventure.

This was a very special birthday for Cole. He chose to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We had so many family and friends attend. What a beautiful day. After Cole was confirmed, he said he felt peaceful and warm-we're so proud of him!

After an awesome birthday party at the pool, Cole went straight to The Blue and Gold banquet for his first ever scout meeting. He received his new neckerchief from our new cubmaster, Brother Jensen.
